Can I continue to use GS1 barcodes after cancelling my membership?

No, you cannot continue to use your GS1 GTINs if you are no longer a member of GS1 Ireland.

If you've cancelled your licence and are no longer paying the annual fee, you may not use the related barcodes anymore. After you cancel, the information in our database about your GTINs will be limited and any marketplaces who verify barcodes will not be able to check the full extent of the data it needs.

Please note that barcode licences can't be cancelled if there are still products on the market using those numbers.
